Need A Little Help...

Yesterday, I entered the grocery store at 12:15 pm with two hungry kids and a need for lots of groceries including their lunch. I fed them full of the free sugar cookies the store offers to hopefully occupy them while I rushed to finish the shopping. The day had been a little bit hectic already and my brain was beginning to feel fried. A very nice lady asked me if I was Brandi in the store. I said yes and she introduced herself telling me she reads my blog. She also said she was from Dothan and complimented my kids. Now, I can't remember her name and you would understand if you knew what happened towards the end of my shopping trip. I will save that story for another time. If this nice lady is reading today, will you leave a comment and tell me your name again. My parents grew up in Dothan and I thought you might know one another. So, please leave a comment if you don't mind and are still reading.

Hi, Brandi. I am the lady who introduced myself in the grocery store yesterday. I was afraid that it might have been a little scary having someone introduce themselves as basically a blog stalker. My name is Louise Roney Medlin. My parents, Bruce and Georgia Baker Roney grew up in and around Dothan and my brother and I were born there and lived there until 1963. My aunts (Faye Ethridge and Sarah McKnight) still live there. Another aunt(Christine Beasley) lives in Headland. My cousins who live in Dothan are Kathy Waters and David Ethridge. It was nice meeting you and you were so gracious. Can't wait to read what happened after I met you.

Don't you love being from a small town! Same fun stuff has happened to me, too! And, I completely think that sugar cookies count as an appetizer...
